You want to ask yourself this question because knowing the answer will clarify what genres you want to write about and what style of writing you work best in.

3. Write something every day!

If you want to become better are writing invest in a journal. This journal can either contribute as a regular journal or a place where you create ideas for pieces. Whatever role the journal plays, make sure you write in it every day!
