Every few years or so, a certain movie comes along that speaks to a entire generation. Maybe for you it was "Forrest Gump" or "The Breakfast Club." For me, none of these movies compare to "She’s The Man."
I don’t know if it was how Amanda Bynes brought comedic genius (pre-breakdown) to her double role, Channing Tatum’s debut to the world, or maybe it was the inspiration from the "Twelfth Night" by Shakespeare. Anyway, I have been unhealthily obsessed with this movie ever since the premiere, and I basically quote the movie any chance I get (my friends can vouch for me on this one). Here are some reasons why "She’s The Man" has spoken to me and other girls all around the world.
1. Amanda Bynes taught us how to walk with confidence.
2. Tampons now have more than one purpose.
3. There are two different types of girls in the world.
I prefer to be the one that chews like I have a secret
4. We should never be afraid to speak the truth.
5. And bring the sass.
6. Amanda showed us how to deal with boys living on our floor in college (or in her case high school...I never understood how was were suppose to believe they were in high school).
7.We learned not to deal with stupid boys who are below our standards.
8. Channing Tatum’s abs. Enough said.
9. It’s ideal to have a lab partner like Eunice because she will be the best.
10. A stalker that sings songs about seeing you through your window is always creepy.
"She’s The Man" will never get old to me. I hope there are still die-hard fans like me out there.
