10 Times The Bachelorette Perfectly Described Your Thoughts While Running

I'm sorry running, you have not received a rose tonight.

10 Times The Bachelorette Perfectly Described Your Thoughts While Running

Running. One thing that can give you all the energy in the world but also make you want to die within the span of moments. Whether you are an experienced runner or just starting out, hopefully you can relate to the thoughts I have while running.

Here are 10 thoughts that I have while running, described by Bachelorette gifs:

  1. When you start easy and decide to eat healthy, aka Chad casually snacking on leaves in the middle of a rose ceremony:

  2. The night before, setting your alarm for 7 am planning your run while thinking, “I am so healthy, I am going to get up early and run” …
  3. … And then the moment your alarm actually goes off and you start internally crying: (or maybe shed a couple of external tears)

  4. When you first start running you feel like you are invincible; and you think to yourself "This is magic" and "I can do this":

  5. After 3 seconds of running and you are already ready to go home:

  6. When you feel like you've been running for 3 hours and you look at your watch and you realize it’s actually only been 3 minutes

  7. When you finally turn the corner and see the spot where you started your run :

  8. When you realize how much energy you have from running, and you feel ready to conquer the world:
  9. 30 minutes after your run, when you are already sore, and think about the people who actually enjoy running:

  10. When you give up on running and realize that mac and cheese is so much better:

As you can see, I have a love-hate relationship with running. I used to play soccer in high school, so I was running almost every day and fell out of it senior year and after I went into college. I have only picked up running on a daily basis about two months ago. I do get to run most mornings on a greenway at home that looks like it came out of a fairy-tale book, but only so that I can eat more mac and cheese later in the day. :) As much as I complain about running, I do actually enjoy it and at end of the day, a good run always turns your day around.

Lastly, a little more Bachelorette motivation for you:

Run like Luke is waiting for you at the finish line :)

Good luck in all of your running adventures!

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer. And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

You cannot beat the beach. Believe it or not (which many people may not), New England has a long and beautiful coastline. Most of my high school summers were spent sitting on the Wall at Hampton Beach, getting sunburnt and eating Acai bowls from The Secret Spot. The Wall was the place to be both during the day and at night. We begin our days there with a KB's bagel and coffee, and end them with pizza and ice cream. It’s not a New England summer without that 4 p.m. text from someone, “Who wants to meet at the Wall tonight?” Nighttime is for Tripoli’s Pizza, the sound of waves, and wishes on shooting stars. Wednesday nights are especially important, as those are the nights that Hampton Beach sets off the weekly firework display.
