I remember coming home from middle school every day and watching Gilmore Girls reruns while doing my homework and forgetting all of my awkward pre-teen worries. Growing up in small-town Connecticut myself, I identified with the residents of fictional Stars Hollow and invested in their humor, heartbreak, caffeine addiction and coming-of-age moments as if they were my actual friends and neighbors. So, you can imagine my excitement to hear that Netflix released the first trailer for its Gilmore Girls revival: A Year in the Life. (!!!) With all of this new information being kind of awesome + amazing + overwhelming, I'm breaking down the reactions we'll be experiencing on repeat for the next month...

1. How do they eat so much food without weighing 300 pounds?

No, seriously. What's their secret?

2. I'm really in the mood for Chinese food now.

Or pizza, burgers, donuts, ice cream... Sigh.

3. OMG! Luke!!!

It's SO good to see the baseball cap and flannel button-down again.

4. If Rory is a grown-up now, does that mean I have to be, too? I'm not ready for that.

SOS, adulting is hard.

5. I ship Luke and Lorelai so hard. Stay together for the kids (us).

America's favorite sweethearts pessimists.

6. Rest in peace, Richard. :(

With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day.
