10 Thoughts Every 'Godfather' Fan Knows to be True
The Hollywood Reporter

When I first watched Francis Ford Coppola's 'The Godfather,' I was late to the game. The film was created in 1972 and since then has made a huge mark on the industry. 'The Godfather' has never failed to make a good movie night. Well, for me at least.

1. In the very beginning of the movie, we all thought Michael was innocent.

2. Man this great big Italian wedding looks perfect! The food! The dancing! Sign me up(minus the mafia)!

3. You understand where Don Corleone is coming from on the day of his daughter's wedding no less!

4. When things start to get violent...

5. You connect with some of the Italians on a spiritual level.

6. When you can't find the right words, Sonny Corleone can.

7. You thought he was all business, but then...

8. Clemenza actually has his priorities straight!

9. What's the offer?! What's gonna happen? I need to know. Now.

10. The number one thing in life is family.

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
