1. I got this. Let's go.

As you stare at the many steps ahead in awe, you're pumped. You're going to kill this. Go you.

2. An eighth of the way there! A little out of breath, but let's try and get this done and over with as quickly as possible.

'

Oh yeah!

3. Oh gosh, I've started heavy breathing. I hope nobody notices.

(holds in breath for as long as humanly possible).

4. The person next to me is doing every other steps.

HOW? WHY? Teach me your ways.

5. Now, the people who were steps behind are now PASSING you.

*sings "Rude" by Magic inside head*

6. Now you're halfway done, but fully out of breath. Right about now, you're feeling the burn.

You, attempting to hold in your heavy breathing so people don't stare.

7. "I didn't realize how out of shape I am," you say to yourself; however, you know you're lazy at heart.

Your Netflix is proof of this.

8. You're at the last part. Almost at the top. Barely breathing and legs on fire, you keep on pushing.


Wooohooo! You deserve a treat.

9. Maybe I should leave earlier so I can walk slower and take breaks in between.


Yeah right. You're not giving up extra sleep time to walk up steps.

10. YOU'RE AT THE TOP. YOU MADE IT.

Now, all that's left is the hilly walk to class! You rock and you can't wait to do this all over again tomorrow.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
