Buying concert tickets gives you a rush, but also makes you question everything. Do you really love this artist enough to spend this much money? Buying the ticket isn’t the only purchase you make, you pay for traveling, food, merchandise, and (usually) a new outfit. It’s a big commitment to buy tickets and go. These 10 thoughts have run through my head many times when buying concert tickets. But the payoff is usually worth it! You get to see your favorite musician and forgot about everything troubling you outside the concert. It’s a good release for anyone who enjoys live music and you usually get to road trip. But, we still question our entire existence when purchasing them.
1. Do I have the money to buy these tickets?
Do I really have the money to go? Usually no, but I'm still going.
2. How am I going to get there?
I could take an Uber or I could road trip.
3. Will the merchandise be good?
I can't leave the concert without a $50 tour t-shirt but is it cute?
4. Are they going to play my favorite song?
If they don't play my favorite song I'll leave.
5. Who will go with me?
Having to beg your friends to go see your favorite artist even though they don't like them.
6. Are these good seats?
Are these seats the right price? Can I see them well? Are these nosebleeds?
7. Can I even go on this day?
Trying to figure out what your exact schedule is and see if you have tests on that day.
8. What will I wear?
I have nothing to wear! Guess I have to buy a new outfit.
9. Will *insert favorite band member* look good?
I hope they glow as they sing and take my money.
10. Can I really afford this?
Buy now. Worry later.
As much as it hurts to say goodbye to the money, it is totally worth it in the end.
