1. Gilmore Girls Reunion Episodes are a thing!

I mean.. Seriously! Have you seen the teasers? Rory's like, homeless! And Emily wore jeans!! Quit torturing me Netflix.

2. We get to eat food that isn't made in a cafeteria!

Can I get a hallelujah?

3. Joe Biden memes.

For real though, lets all appreciate that someone decided to start this trend.

4. Sweater Weather

With the temperatures staying below 60 degrees consistently, it is officially time to bust out the cute sweaters and steal the boyfriend's hoodies for the winter season.

5. Starbucks Holiday drinks

Whether you're new to Starbucks, or a regular customer, the seasonal drinks are a must-have! And since everyone else is hopping on the Christmas craze as of November second, grab yourself a Peppermint Mocha Latte and get yourself in the holiday spirit.

6. Friends

And no, I don't mean the TV show. (though we should be thankful of that too!) I mean real friends. The ones who have seen your ugly cry, and still want to associate with you. The do-or-die friends who threaten to beat up all your boyfriends and girlfriends if they hurt you. The friends who know you so well they know what you're thinking before you get the chance to say it. Make sure you let them know you appreciate them though, cause reading minds is pretty tiring.

7. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon

When grandma sits down next to you and starts asking you those really fun questions that she asks every year, (What are you gonna be when you grow up?, When are you getting married?, etc.) you can thank yourself for going out and getting these new pokemon games so that you can catch 'em all while you wait for grandma to catch a hint.

8. Fuzzy Socks And/Or Blankets

Nothing like some fuzzy socks or a nice soft, fuzzy blanket to make the holidays feel infinitely more relaxing. Plus, can you really marathon the Gilmore Girls without a fuzzy blanket to curl up with and cry into?

9. Family

As cheesy as it is, we all know that family is for life and they will always have your back when you're struggling. So take a moment to thank the people who were around for all the ugly school pictures and the temper tantrums, because we all know that takes some serious commitment.

10. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Finally, let's all appreciate Macy's for providing the women of the world an excuse to not watch football all day on Thanksgiving.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

The best superpower ever? Being invisible of course. Imagine just being able to go from seen to unseen on a dime. Who wouldn't want to have the opportunity to be invisible? Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
