Fall is a beautiful time of year. The leaves change colors, football comes back on TV, and we get to enjoy delicious Autumn desserts. If you love fall, this list will inspire you to take out your boots and cozy sweaters!

1. Fall foliage

At the first sight of leaves changing colors, fall lovers excitedly take out their phones and snap a pic of the beautiful scenery.

2. NFL

From the first kickoff of the season, fall lovers everywhere enjoy coming together with friends and family to watch Football.

3. Fantastic fall desserts

Pumpkin pie, apple crisp, hot chocolate OH MY! These delicious desserts have us drooling just at the thought of them!

4. Fall fashion

All fashionistas look forward to Fall to break out their coziest, cutest boots, sweaters, and flannels. Not only do we look awesome, but we are SO comfortable!


5. Apple/pumpkin picking

Whether you go picking on a date, with friends, or with family, this is an activity that all fall lovers enjoy.


6. Your favorite coffee shops fall beverages

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are a must during this season.

7. Halloween!

October 31 is a very exciting time for all fall lovers. Not only is free candy given out, but it is a chance to dress up! I'll take a Reece's please!


8. The perfect opportunity for snuggling

The chilly weather has a way of making people want to hold that special someone just a little closer to them.

9. Pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING

Why stop at Pumpkin Spice Lattes? This time of year you can find pumpkin spice flavored cereals, cookies, ice cream and even candy!

A holiday dedicated to giving thanks? Yes please! After all, we have so much to be thankful for, especially during this season.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
