I live pretty far away from most of my friends, and when they come to visit, these are some of the antics that go on inside my head I hope they're as relatable to you guys as they are to me.
1. Texting the weeks leading up to the meetup date looking like this:
My whole family can attest to me doing this exact GIF at one point.
2. Referring to seeing each other in how many "sleeps" you have
At least all my friends and I say this — I dunno about you guys...
3. Then proceeding the night before to not get any "sleeps"
Actually this didn't happen for me, as I was super tired after working all day.
4. Waiting for the time to pick them up with that weird feeling of excitement in your stomach
I am currently in this stage ... with a cup of tea, no less.
5.Having a set plan weeks in advance to what you guys are going to do together
Maybe it is because I enjoy planning, or maybe its because I have too much time on my hands. I am Dan in this picture — his face is too priceless
6. Praying that your work lets you take the days off so you can spend maximum time with friends
Enough said.
7. The day of the meetup mass spam texts
At least I talk like the dog in my texts ... does anyone else do that??
8. Not being able to think of anything else for the 24 hours before you see them
This was my family's reaction to my energy regarding to my friend coming down.
9. That face you make when you see them for the first time in a few months
I know this will be our facial expressions — girly squeals may or may not be involved.
10. Letting the antics of the dynamic duo begin
NGL this probably will happen at some point.
