If your family is anything like mine and you're the youngest child, you can definitely relate.

1. You will always be called 'the baby'.

"Where is the baby?" Has anyone seen the baby?" It doesn't matter if you're 1 or 41, you will always be The Baby.

2. You will have multiple mothers/fathers.

I have two older sisters and I always joke that I have 3 moms. It's a blessing and a curse.

3. Your parents are more lenient on you.

*hoping my parents don't see this* You get away with so much more than your older siblings did.

4. But sometimes they're harder on you too.

It's their last go around to get a doctor in the family so someone can take care of them in their ~*~GOLDEN~*~ years. I'm so sorry, Mom and Dad. You tried your best and that's all that matters.

5. You will definitely have to remind your family you aren't 12 anymore.

Yes, I can stay out until midnight. I know how to pump my own gas and can even track my mileage. Wow. Adult things.

6. Sometimes you get to skip doing *Adult Things*.

I didn't take my car to get my oil changed alone until recently. Unfortunately, I still had to get my dad to call ahead and tell them to expect me. But hey, I went alone and that's all that matters.

7. Your parents are proud for the little victories.

My oldest sister placed third in the 5th-grade spelling bee. Mom asked her why she didn't win. I placed third in the 5th-grade spelling bee and Mom took me to buy a new outfit.

8. You have your own fan club at special events.

My whole family has been at every tennis match, helped me move in and out of my freshman, sophomore, and junior year living spaces, gone to multiple sorority Bid Days, and every choir concert. You always know exactly where they are, too, because they're the ones cheering the loudest.

9. You have multiple closets.

You're basically a Kardashian because you have so many outfits to choose from. Thanks, sisters, for letting me wear your clothes for so long.

10. You mature faster than your friends.

I always loved hanging out with my sisters and their friends since they were so ~*~Cool~*~. You obviously didn't want them to think you were a baby, so now you're naturally older than your peers.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
