10 Things You Cannot Forget To Do This Winter Break

OK, so now that finals are FINALLY over... it's time for the best time of the year! Here are 10 things you must be doing this winter break:

1. Sleep

After the semester you've had, you deserve it.

2. Eat home cooked meals

The second best thing about being home from college--no longer eating the same three meals from the dining hall every day!

3. Catch up on Netflix

You probably haven't had time to.

4. Do things for money

At this point, you are completely broke. Get a seasonal job or ask your parents what you can do around the house so you have some extra cash for the new semester!

5. Hug your parents

Do it because of all the times you just wanted your mom during the worst parts of the semester.

6. Sleep

This deserves to be mentioned twice because it is just that important.

7. Catch up with old friends

You have to fill your friends from home in on all the chaos that occurred this semester.

8. Donate old clothes

It's time to take the clothes you never take to college or never wear and give them to people who need them this Christmas!

9. Get organized for next semester

Get ready while you have time so that you'll be less stressed later.

10. Travel

If you can, you should take advantage of the extra time and go somewhere new!

Bonus: Don't forget to listen to plenty of Christmas music while it's still acceptable.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
