10 Things That Happen When You're In A Long-Distance Best Friendship

In life you really only get a few real, true best friends. They're the ones who are there for you through the good and the bad. They're the ones who you know will always be there for you no matter what. Sometimes you both live in the same town, sometimes you both live on separate coasts. Here's to all those who have one of those long-distance best friends.

1. You want to personally thank the creators of FaceTime & Snapchat

Because without it you’ll almost forget what your BFF's face looks like… almost.

2. Your boyfriends understand that you may be distant from them when you and your BFF are finally reunited

If they really do love you, they'll get over it.

3. They’re the ones who truly have seen you at your worst and still love you anyway

Like that one time you let me ugly cry in the bathroom at a party.

4. The reaction to peoples' faces when you say you’re still BFF’s with your high school best friend who lives three states over

Some friendships are too strong to break up.

5. You get jealous when you see your BFF having fun with their (geographically close) best friends

K.

6. You hate that you don’t know everything new that happens in their life

Because you know they're just telling their new best friend everything.

7. Virtual hugs aren’t the same as real hugs

8. You don’t understand when your friends you saw last week say “I miss you”

Because you’ve gone four months without seeing your best friend from home before.

9. When it’s time to separate, you wish you could just pack them in your suitcase

10. Most importantly, you know that they’ll be in your life forever

Because lets face it, you’ve made it this far.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
