10 Things You (Probably) Do Not Know About Me

You may think you know everything about someone, but I have found that even the closest people in your life may find out something and be surprised by the answer. There is nothing wrong with that, I believe as humans we don’t always openly share things with others just because it is hard and a lot to explain, you just don’t know how to explain it. I would like to share with you all ten things that you may, or may not know about me.

1. I am afraid of the dark.

As embarrassing as this is I find myself waking up in the middle of the night turning my lamp on and rolling over to go back to bed because I freak myself out. Nothing to be ashamed of blonde girl emoji.

2. I sleep with a teddy bear every night.

This teddy bear has a sentimental value and I love the boy dearly who gave it to me. His name is Bentley and he’s the cutest teddy bear in the world (thanks Fabi).

3. I fear the unknown.

I mean who doesn’t? Not knowing what the future has in store for me stressing me out. It is okay though; it means that I care about where I will end up in life. I am teaching myself to not worry though. Everything happens for a reason life doesn’t give you an obstacle that you cannot handle. You just have to take a deep breathe in and it will all work out; there is no reason to worry about things that haven’t even happened yet.

4. I regret quitting my musical talents.

Music was my life. It made me so happy, but life and adulthood got in the way and unfortunately music could no longer fit into my life style.

5. If the aviation field doesn’t work out I hope to go towards the fashion/beauty industry.

I love clothes, shoes, and purses. I love spicing up my work attire at the flight school with a cute pair of shoes, flashy bracelets and my baby Mikey (Michael Kors I name my purses haha!).

6. I am not a natural blonde.

7. I use to be afraid of falling in love.

Then one day I told myself to stop that fear, and I met a perfect boy who stole my heart and I am allowing him to keep it, because he is very nice to it.

8. I am starting to learn a new language.

I just sent the email to my boss a few days ago about beginning this process, here is what I kind of already know; Halt die fresse, ich liebe dich, ein stilles wasser, bitte? Yes German. I may sound like a dictionary when speaking it in the future, but it will all be good.

9. I have want to write a book someday.

I have a story that is waiting to be told. It is about a boy and a girl who meet and well the rest is history. Personally, I think it would be a New York Times Best Selling Novel one day.

10. I LOVE THE 80!

Hands down the best music ever made in this time period. I am guilty of playing a little Def Leppard, Guns N Roses, and Bon Jovi from time to time. I know every word with no shame whatsoever.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
