1. I’ll only be a minute

We all know what only being a minute turns into! It turns into a whole day’s worth of shopping. It also means that more than likely, we stop at every single store in the entire mall!

2. Oh my God that’s so cute

Oh my God that’s so cute... *Looks at the price tag* Yeah... About that... It’s no longer cute!

3. Before we leave, I need to go to the shoe store

Every girl says this at least once while at the mall. Then the reasoning behind them having to stop at the shoe store is because they can’t get a shirt and pants if they don’t have shoes to match it.

4. I won’t stop in Target this time

The famous last words of EVERY girl in the world: “I won’t go into target this time.” We all know that isn’t the case, no matter how hard you try, you always come up with something you have to get from Target. One item then turns into $75.00 later on things you didn’t even need!

5. I don’t have money to spend, I’m just going to look

Every girl has said this at least once in her life: "I only have $50.00 in my bank account so I can’t spend any money." You will then walk into a store and see something you like and buy it anyway, and then will say, "Well thank God I get paid Thursday.

6. We need to go to the pet store

I just want to look at all the cute puppies! *Walks into the pet store with all intentions of just looking but then takes out 5 puppies and plays with them, because they look “sad” in the cages*

7. I have enough from Pink already

I know for a fact most girls walk into Pink with the full intention of just looking at the new line they just came out with. Then BAM the big underwear display says 5 for $28 and you just can’t resist all the new ones they just put out so then you have to buy five new pairs!

8. I thought this would be cuter on me than it is

I can say this one is right up my alley of things I would say while shopping. You see something that’s so cute on the hanger so you just have to try it on. You put it on and look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself, wow this looks way better on the rack!

9. I can’t go into Ulta or Sephora

No matter how hard we try not to stop into one of these two stores, it just doesn’t work. You always have to stop in just to see the new highlights or the new blushes. When you leave the store, your arms are covered in swatches of all the beautiful colors!

10. We might as well go get lunch while we are already out

You know good and well that you had full intentions of getting food before you even left your house to go shopping. By going shopping, it just made it more convenient to actually stop and get food. You have your basic food places in the mall such as Chinese, Pizza, and also the Pretzel place... And i bet you settled for the pretzel!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
