I make no apologies for how I chose to repair what you broke.
We are now 14 seasons deep in Grey's Anatomy and to say we are emotionally attached is an understatement.
We've experienced love and loss, and we wanted to find Shonda Rhimes on multiple occasions (Can we talk about a few things Shonda?).
But nonetheless, there are many things we as fans are guilty of. Here are 10, even though there a lot more.
1. Wanting to call ourselves doctors
We're not doctors but after 14 seasons we might as well be. I'd go into further debt to go to medical school.
2. Thinking we can push one of epi
We can't. There's no point in trying. We are not doctors.
3. Self-diagnosing ourselves
I'm not a hypochondriac, I just think I have a brain tumor when it's just a headache.
4. Diagnosing others
Oh you have these symptoms? You're dying. Oops.
5. Crying over fictional deaths
George O'Malley. That is all.
6. Wanting to find Shonda Rhimes and ask for an explanation
George, Izzy, Lexie, Mark, Derek, Samuel!!!! Whyyyy?
7. Live tweeting during every episode, spoiling the episode for others
So this happened and I loved it. And now I'm angry because this patient is dying. Oh, the patient is dead. Spoiler? Sorry, you should be watching right now.
8. Telling our friends to watch Grey's Anatomy
Watch Grey's Anatomy they said. It'll be fun they said.
9. Spoiling half of every episode for said friend
They already know that George dies and Derek dies and all the other things I said accidentally on purpose to soften the blow.
10. Writing Odyssey articles about Grey's Anatomy
These are the best articles to be written and we should have a category just for Grey's Anatomy articles. Including this one.
Being a Grey's Anatomy fan doesn't make us doctors but it has increased our knowledge of medicine. Maybe one of you will be the next Meredith Grey - then you can say '10 Blade!'
