1.You sing and dance all of the time

Singing and dancing make you feel alive and free. You sing in the shower, in the car, and in public when you are really feelin’ yourself. You know all of the latest dances moves and music. People love your willingness to be so carefree.

2.You think you’re funny

Let’s face it. You always end up laughing at yourself and your own jokes. You think you are good enough to be a comedian, but your friends tell you to chill most of the time. You love making people laugh. Life is better when you don’t take everything so seriously.

3.You always start conversations

You are always the first one to break the awkward silence. You probably find yourself in your roommate’s bedroom more than your own because you love talking so much. Your friends love bringing you to parties because you have the ability to start a conversation with almost anyone in the room.

4.Your room is always full of people

You have probably gotten several noise complaints late at night because you’ve had so many friends over. All of the social gatherings are in your room because you love entertaining your friends. And if you are anything like me, you love making food for your friends and they love eating it.

5. You love meeting new people

You are a social butterfly. You love meeting new people and learning new things. You are always eager to build new connections and relationships. It can be tough at times, but you are always up for a challenge.

6. You love volunteering

You see volunteer work as an opportunity to meet new people and do something that will make your parents and community proud. And if we are being completely honest, it looks pretty good on a resume.

7. You love trying new things

Some people are afraid to leave their comfort zones, but NOT you. Trying new things is what you live for. You love taking risks. Especially, when it comes to trying new food. Bring on the chocolate covered insects!

8. Silence drives you insane

Everyone likes having a little alone time, but being alone for a long period of time is not something you enjoy. You hate awkward silence. You would rather spend the day at a rock concert compared to a day at the library. Silence is golden sometimes, but you prefer silver anyways.

9.You love making other people happy

You love making people laugh and feel good about themselves. You pick up little things from the store that remind you of your friends and you try your best to keep everyone happy. You love being the reason that someone else is smiling. You try to be happy all of time no matter how bad your day is going. That’s what people love about you.

10. You are always down for a good party

Of course, you are always down to party. YOU are the party. Without you the party would not be any fun. Your ability to initiate small talk, sing and dance, and crack a few jokes makes you first on the list of people to invite. Being the extraverted roommate can be tough sometimes, but you love your personality and wouldn’t change a thing about yourself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
