Would it be too cheesy if I start out this article but emphasizing that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year? Well, it is.
From the falling snow, "Sleigh Ride" playing on repeat, and Starbucks serving their signature holiday drinks, it's pretty darn difficult to escape the Christmas festivities. As I am sitting here in the middle of Starbucks, writing and sipping on my peppermint latte, I've realized that there are certain people in this world, definitely including myself on this one, that are simply just "Christmas people." They are the ones that are not ashamed of putting up thousands of cut-out snowflakes around the house, the ones that want to go Christmas tree shopping in November, and the ones that consider the day after Halloween to be the appropriate time to begin the Christmas festivities.
So, Christmas lovers, embrace that holiday cheer. Go buy that Christmas tree and blast "Santa Baby" in your car, because this one is for you.
You know that Christmas has your heart when...
1. You have a Christmas countdown app on your phone that never gets deleted, and you check it more than you should.
2. Your Christmas Pinterest board is your most elaborate board, and you are constantly pinning things to it.
3. You ask for aux, only and just only, to blast Christmas music in your roommate's car.
4.You know exactly how tall your ceiling is, in order to buy the biggest Christmas tree that you can find, while also making sure it can actually fit inside your house.
5. You plan your homework/studying time around ABC Family's, oh I mean Freeform's, 25 Days of Christmas.
6. Even as a 20-year-old, you still get excited by the NORAD Santa Tracker
7. No matter the time or the situation, you will run outside, possibly throwing snowballs, the minute you see the first snow-fall.
8. You own more than one Christmas sweater and are always down to wear them.
9. Your Gingerbread House is in better condition than your actual house.
10. You spend more time making paper snowflakes than doing your actual homework... or you've accidentally used your homework to make paper snowflakes.
'Tis the season.
