10 Signs You Are Ready For This Semester To End

With the semester nearing its end, almost every student seems to be struggling with making it to the finish line. Below are 10 signs that hint that you are ready for this semester to be over with. Even if just a couple relate to you, it means that this semester has dragged on far too long.

1. You have to force yourself to not skip classes

If you're anything like me then you've already skipped a few classes this semester. However, since finals are quickly approaching, you gotta firmly tell yourself to not to skip.

2. Your procrastination level has almost reached its maximum point

Wait, that assignment was due two days ago?

3. You cannot stop daydreaming of summer break

You should probably be thinking of that chemistry final.

4. There is hardly any motivation left

The only motivation that you might find is the fear of your G.P.A dropping

5. You're feeling more tired than normal

Naps are becoming a necessity to survive the rest of the semester.

6. Your classes seem to be blending together

Instead of separate classes, it now feels like it's all one giant class that you must conquer.

7. You've been consuming way more coffee

A clear and obvious sign that you are on the verge of dropping out before the semester is over.

8. Doing homework is comparable to running a marathon

Before, doing homework was just another part of your daily routine. Now, it seems to be a monstrous chore that must be done.

9. You are reading this to procrastinate from studying

If you should be studying right now then you're just done with this semester.

10. The excitement of the end of the semester is stronger than nervousness over finals

If you feel this way, then you are on another level of being over this semester.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
