10 Signs You Have A Type A Personality

It takes one to know one.

10 Signs You Have A Type A Personality

10. You genuinely enjoy being busy, and you panic if there's no structure in your day.

Also, chances are you genuinely enjoy the process of making to-do lists and subsequently crossing things off of them.

9. Group projects make you anxious.

It's not that we don't trust other people to do the work, it's just that we like to be in control. We're independent and would rather do all the work and have it done our way.

8. Cleaning and organizing is relaxing.

We're too hyperactive for yoga and meditation. Cleaning our room or organizing our planner sounds like a much more productive way to feel calm.

7. We don't procrastinate.

Either we get things done way ahead of time, or we waste so much time making life harder for ourselves, or both.

6. You're a big fan of spreadsheets, color-coded notes and planners.

How else are you going to keep your life together?

4. You're rarely late and having to wait for people is your pet peeve.

This is your motto: "Five minutes early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable."

3. You tend to be a little uptight about certain things.

While we might come off as unforgiving and unempathetic, we are making an effort to be a little more lenient.

2. You're a major perfectionist ... and majorly dramatic.

*Hyperventilates when you're taking notes and accidentally misspell a word, which means that you have to scratch it out or live with the error, which is THE END OF THE WORLD*

1. People might call you an impatient workaholic, but you prefer to label yourself as "motivated," "reliable" and "high-achieving."

Nobody's perfect, and we all have our flaws, but we're doing our best.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
