10 Road Rage Instances As Told By Gordon Ramsay

The road rage is real.

You're driving down the road, cruising at about 60 mph and jamming to a good song, when suddenly, out of nowhere, someone pulls out in front of you and you can't get over. So, you must slam on breaks. A drink flies out of the cup holder just as cuss words start flying out of your mouth. I've seen others throw their hands up, along with other gestures, but I typically stick to telling the dog how pissed off I am. We all experience this thing called road rage and the well known angry chef, Gordon Ramsay, knows just what to say every time!

Warning: Gordon Ramsay's language is quite colorful!

1. When someone isn't driving the speed limit.

It's maddening when someone in front of you isn't even driving the speed limit and you can't get by them. You don't even have to be in a hurry or running late to get mad about it!

2. The person in front of you slams on breaks.

Haven't we all been in this situation? You're driving along, maybe listening to a good song or deep in thought, and then suddenly the car in front of you slams on breaks. At times, there isn't even a car in front of them, but they slam on breaks and then so do you. Your drink goes flying, your phone is in the floor, and maybe even your food.

3. A fellow driver won't let you get over.

The GPS decides to tell you that your exit is in 800 feet, but the person beside you says no way!

4. Brakes are being pressed and then they start to turn......without a turn signal.

C'mon, I know those turn signals work or that car wouldn't have passed inspection!

5. When a driver doesn't dim their brights at night.

It's dark, you're tired, and you come around a turn to be blinded by the oncoming car. In some cases, you might be on an empty highway and the car that comes up behind you has brights on that glare off of your mirrors.....this is when I start to become Gordon Ramsay.

6. You finally get out from behind the slow driver, and suddenly they decide you're at Daytona.

Riding down the interstate, probably in the left lane, and you're behind a slow driver with another one in the lane to your right and not enough room to get over and get in front. You're trapped. Finally, the car in front of you moves and you start to speed up, but then all of a sudden you're both speeding up and your crew chief is telling you to take the inside of the turn!

7. Cyclists on a back road.

Winding back roads with sharp turns and cyclists simply don't mix! Why is this even allowed?

8. Someone pulls out in front of you.

They're sitting in the median or at the end of a driveway, and you know they see you coming. Then, you see them pull out and notice there's no way they're even trying to match your speed before you get to them.

9. When two cars decide to drive side-by-side and block all traffic from passing.

Two cars, two lanes, one speed......it is the most aggravating situation to be in when you are in a hurry and neither car will speed up.

10. That driver that races past you to get over 3 lanes of traffic.

I have never quite understood why the guy with a fast car, or maybe a guy with a wannabe fast car, feels the need to fly past people moving at a decent speed and then dart over 2 or 3 lanes.

Gordon Ramsay's word choice seems to perfectly express the thoughts of any driver, aka road raged drivers, who have to experience these instances! Don't let people drive you too crazy, and stay safe!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
