With the events in Charlottesville, Virginia, there have been many speaking out against the participants. Politicians, celebrities, and world leaders had words to say about what went down and there were some who gave responses without beating around the bush and there are others who avoided directly dealing with the issue.

10. Barack Obama
Former president Barack Obama responded to Charlottesville with a Nelson Mandela quote and his tweet has since become the most liked tweet ever.
Everything that happened in Charlottesville has moved many people to condemn the acts of hatred explicit in the white supremacist rally. It has brought universal attention to America and the violent actions of the protesters cannot be undone.
In spite of this, the white supremacist and Nazi participants of the rally have not been condemned and displaced in the way they should have. Rather, the president condemned the violence "on many sides" and blamed the "alt-left" for the violence. President Trump has been dancing around directly blaming the alt-right, the white supremacists, the Nazis for their actions and America is hurting because of it.
