1. We have the *best* game days.

Students stroll by an empty Stanford Stadium on the way to class, look at it longingly from the 4th floor of MLC during the week, and fill it on Saturday’s in the fall. There’s nothing like Saturday’s in Athens.

2. Our dining halls are superb.

Not to mention, we have five of them, one of which operates 24 hours Monday through Thursday. Can it get much better than that?

3. We have a Chick-fil-a on campus.

Thought this would definitely being a selling point for some people so I threw it in.

4. Our colors are red and black.

No offense to other schools out there, but our colors go so well together and are so versatile. Are they fitting for a cute outfit? Oh, you know it. Do they look ~sleek~? Um, heck yes.

5. Downtown is within walking distance from campus.

A 3-minute bus ride or short walk from the high-rise dorms will take you to some of the best restaurants in the world (in my unbiased opinion). Downtown also has an array of clothing stores to make sure you’re always looking fly.

6. You'll never be far from coffee.

We have a Starbucks, Jittery Joe’s, and many other lovely coffee shops close to campus to explore. You won’t be disappointed.

7. The community is amazing.

Everyone here is so nice. I’m not kidding.

8. You will always hit your Fitbit step goal.

There’s lots of walking to be done, if that’s your style. If not, we have buses, too!

9. There are free home-made cookies outside Tate on Wednesday's.

Not sure how long this is going to last for, but right now I think it is a strong reason to include. Some very nice moms hang outside Tate on Wednesday’s and give out cookies. Enough said.

10. The professors truly care about you.

I know this definitely has exceptions, but even my hardest courses were taught by professors that cared about me growing as a student and didn’t just want to make my life awful.

I could go on and on, but I’ll stop myself with these! Go dawgs.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
