You know that game couples play where they come to an agreement on what famous person the other is allowed to cheat on them with? I have long since given free reign to my boyfriend that, if by any chance (no matter how much of a long-shot it is), Jessica Williams were to approach him, he has my full permission to be with her. I’d almost be mad at him if he didn’t. That woman is just so smart, and funny, and super talented, and completely drop dead gorgeous. She’s my idol, and really, she should be ever young Black girl’s idol. Here are 11 reasons why Jessica Williams is every Black girl’s, every girl’s, ultimate goals.

1. She was the youngest correspondent on “The Daily Show” ever.

At just 21 years-old, Jessica Williams became the youngest "The Daily Show" correspondent ever. She was young, black, and unapologetic, coming onto a well-established and career making show. And damn did she prove her worth!

2. She is a co-host of the chart-topping podcast “2 Dope Queens”

Jessica started a podcast with her BFF Phoebe Robinson and with only three episodes currently under its wing, the show is already #1 on the podcast downloads chart.

3. Add actress to her already busy schedule

What can this girl not do?

4. She says things like this:

She is easily one of the funniest correspondents on the show and I can never wait until one of her segments.

5. She supports the swirl

Alright, I want to be clear about this reason. She is not a goal because she got a white boy. Calm down. What I'm saying is: I've heard a lot of people express disappointment when a predominate woman of color in media is dating a white man, as if she's let down her race, so I'm all here for actual progression and loving who you love.

6. She keeps it real

Enough said.

7. Her hilarious stand up

Tag-teaming once again with her BFF, Jessica and Phoebe took the stage together to talk about everything - from racial incidents to "Harry Potter," to trying anal for the first time.

8. Her hair versatility is perfection

Slay queen, slay.

9. She’s a tall glass of chocolate milk

So on top of being completely gorgeous, this woman is 6 feet tall. What I love about this is that usually when a comedian has a distinguishing feature - whether they are tall, overweight, or their hair is just thinning - that feature becomes their main joke in an uncomfortable, self-deprecating way. But Jessica doesn't use her height as a punchline. She just owns herself and I'm here for it girl.

10. She’s a proud Feminist

In this meme, she is putting a satirical spin on cat calling, and every woman-based segment of hers on "The Daily Show" is a must see!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
