"Jane the Virgin" has become my new obsession; seriously I watched all 2 seasons in less than 2 days. As I watched I realized despite obvious circumstances (being artificially inseminated), Jane Villanueva is an incredibly realistic character. Jane the Virgin is a show that will make you cry, laugh, and yell at your television all at the same time. The themes of family, relationships, careers, and friendship constantly are being discussed during the show. Every character has a distinct personality and story arc, making the viewer personally invested in all of the characters. Here are 10 of many moments that make Jane The Virgin a fantastic show.

1. When Jane fantasized that she danced to Toxic with Britney Spears, because we all have danced to that song on blast.

2. Every Rogelio moment basically, but especially when he became dramatic after being called dramatic.

3. Every time Rafael takes his shirt off or smiles, those moments make all of us have serious heart eyes.

4. Despite her pregnancy, Jane still has dreams and aspirations for her career. She is still in school, working, teaching, and working towards becoming a writer (all while being pregnant).

5. Luisa and Rose have an intense relationship, and the show treats their realtionship no differently than other different sex relationships. (Unlike most television shows that have a "token" gay couple)

6. Even when they aren't in a realtionship, Jane and Michael's friendship is one of the most heartwarming aspects of the show.

7. The show showcases the harsh reality of immigration laws, and how those people have to live in fear everyday. Taking time to touch upon serious topics, instead of romance or lighthearted comedy.

8. The time Xo called out her mother for slut shaming her, and refused to accept her mother's religious views as a means for attacking her.

9. The constant theme of family and strong independent women is refreshing for a television show. Not to forget that the show focuses on Latin American culture and traditions.

10. Petra Solano is a multi-dimensional character , she seems like a villian and seems like a decent person. Each episode gives us another version of Petra, not to forget her never ending sass.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
