As a freshman in college, two of my best friends are seniors in high school this year. As the end of their school year is approaching I want to tell them a few things that they need to know before coming to college. Even though they may think that they are ready I still have some advice that I would like to share to them before they are sent off into the world of college.
1. May is slowly approaching, make the most of every senior event!
Prom is finally here, what you've been waiting for.
2. Make this summer the best of your life!
It's pretty simple. Make. It. Epic.
3. Before you leave for school, fix any relationships/problems that may be bothering you.
You don't want to leave our hometown with any bad blood.
4. DO NOT PACK EVERYTHING ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.
Pack what you need, and remember that you can go home to get stuff during breaks.
5. When you get to school, be friends with everyone, kill people with kindness.
It's better to be nice to everyone to make the most friends possible.
6. Please don't go too hard with the partying.
I understand college is wild at first, but don't go crazy with it you'll regret it after.
7. Focus on your school work, you aren't paying an obscene amount of money to skip classes.
8. That guy from the frat party, he usually ain't worth it sis.
9. If you're homesick, come home for the weekend!
There is nothing wrong with wanted to come home if you miss it give in and buy that ticket home.
