Brooke Davis. Cheerleader. Fashion Designer. Role Model. She may have been known as the "party girl" in high school, but eventually she turned her life around and became a very successful business woman. Throughout all 9 seasons of One Tree Hill, Brooke Davis gave us many lessons to be learned and so much more.

1. Stand up for what's right

Even if you don't think other people will agree with you, that's okay. The right thing may not be the most popular and the most popular thing may not be the right thing.

2. Live your life to the fullest

You're only young once. Try out for theater, go study abroad, or go volunteer for a local organization. You'll regret the chances you didn't take.

3. People are capable of change

From Season 1 of One Tree Hill up until Season 9, we definitely saw Brooke Davis change for the better. Everyone is capable of some sort of change. You just have to believe in them and support them in everything they set their minds to.

4. Our society is full of double standards

Double standards face every single person daily. Brooke Davis was definitely one to shut down double standards and tell everyone that they were okay.

5. Don't let others define who you are

"People are going to label you. It's how you overcome those labels, that's what matters."

6. Just because one guy hurts you, doesn't mean the next one will

Not every guy you meet is a bad guy. Although it's going to take some trust and patience, there is a right guy out there for each of you.

7. Everyone is insecure about something

Brooke Davis wasn't perfect in every episode. She faced many struggles through high school and even when she was running Clothes Over Bros. Everyone's insecurities can be triggered by someone saying just one simple thing.

8. Sometimes you just have to dance it out

Someone may walk in and see you. But there's that possibility that the person who just walked in will become your future husband one day.

9. Think of others before yourself

This one took Brook Davis a few seasons to learn. However, she eventually started putting her friends and family first. Although you may be going through some hard situations, there are other people who are going through harder situations.

10. Be fearless in everything you do

People are going to hold you back and situations will arise that aren't part of your plan. I mean Brooke Davis is a victim of assault. She sets her goals and tries her hardest to achieve them, without letting anything get in her way.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
