Working in a daycare is easily one of the most stressful, chaotic and fulfilling jobs you can have all wrapped up in one. Everyday care is different — some being restricted to certain ages, some having only three regulars and some taking in 20 or 30 little ones every day. However, there are a few characters that pop up in everyday care, that any day care worker can see coming a mile away.

1. The toddler that screams from the second he gets dropped off to the second he gets picked up

2. The kid that wets her diaper as soon as you change her

3. The little boy that plays quietly in the corner by himself the entire time

4. The kid that will not share no matter what

5. The 8-year-old whose mom somehow found a way to sneak him into your 3-year-old-to-5-year-old’s only nursery

6. The baby that wants you to hold her the whole time, even though you have twelve other kids to watch

7. The little girl that will listen to you tell her no, smile at you, and do exactly what you just said not to

8. The kid that comes off sweet but is extremely hyper and ends up whipping through the room like a tornado

9. The super-cute little girl that you adore, but she just doesn’t reciprocate your love

10. And finally, the precious little kid that you look forward to seeing every week, that makes your job worth it

As loud, messy and hard to handle as some kids can be, everyday care worker loves all of the children they see on a regular basis or else we wouldn’t stick with our daycare kiddos. Who would change dirty diapers for a living if they didn’t love something about their job?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
