10 Reactions To Finals Week Situations As Told By Politicians
JTF News

It’s the most stressful tiiiiime of the yeeeeear!

Happy finals, everyone. It’s crazy to think that our future depends on these extremely tedious weeks right before the holidays. Tears will be shed. Eyes will burn from sleep deprivation. Stores will run out of chocolate ice cream. It looks as if some of 2016's most prominent politicians feel the same pain we're feeling. They took final exams some time in their lives, too, after all. Here are 10 reactions to common finals week situations as told by politicians:

1. When someone tells you, “No need to stress about finals! You’ll be absolutely fine”:

"Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong." No, I will not be fine. I am going to study and then cry and then study and then cry some more.

2. When you're studying some true-and-false questions and have absolutely no idea which to choose:

Is there a "sometimes true and sometimes false" option?

3. When you are trying to think of a killer thesis for a final paper:

Short, sweet and to the point.

4. When you take a study break and book it to the freezer:

Ben and Jerry are the only two friends that can help me through finals.

5. When your practice test says that a question you were 100% confident about is wrong:

There must be a glitch in the system.

6. When you run across a topic that you completely forgot about while studying:

Who are you and when did you come into my life?

7. When your professor gives extra credit questions on the final:

Redemption. Sweet, sweet redemption.

8. When it's 4 a.m., you've been at the library for hours and you keep dozing off:

My brain may be fried to a crisp but I can still...keep...going...

9. When you're trying to somehow re-wire your brain after hours of staring at flashcards:

I've forgotten everything else known to mankind except for these 200 terms.

10. When you put your pencil down for the last time and your finals are over for the semester:

Thank you, thank you. It's been a long journey, but I survived.

Trudge through. Study hard. Make Finals Great Again.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
