As midterms arise so does our tendency to procrastinate and avoid responsibilities. So what better way to do so than thinking about things you would rather be doing? But, let's be honest... the fact that you are reading this article probably means that you are already half way there to boarding the procrastination train. So, here's 10 things that you will probably end up doing by the end of tonight...

1. Going to "workout"

You may think that going to the gym is going to be productive, however everyone knows that you will really just end up on your phone claiming you are looking up ab workouts.

2. Online shopping your worries away

Don't worry, we've all been there....

3. Binge watching our favorite Netflix show

Whether your cup of tea is HIMYM, Game of Thrones, or Family Guy, I'm sure that sounds way more fun than whatever you are attempting to understand right now.

4. Going to a concert

Because who doesn't like music.

5. Eno-ing somewhere far far away from your responsibilities

It will probably begin as an attempt to find a cool study spot.... but quickly go downhill from there.

6. Taking a nap

No explanation needed.

7. Stalking everyone you've ever met on social media

Because your ex's ex's ex is so interesting right?!

8. Eating everything

For clarification: Eating everything UNHEALTHY because why not.

9. Planning your next beach trip

Oh, how we would all love to sit there with our feet in the sand and an ocean breeze.... but here we are reading about it instead while holding a history book that we have been "reading" for twenty minutes.

10. Literally ANYTHING else.

Let's be honest, anything is better than studying and stressing.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
