We've all been there, that week from hell.

No matter how hard you seem to try, sometimes the odds seem to stack up against you and your okay week turns into a straight nightmare. And like most people, we all have our comfort go to's to help us cope. And let's be honest, you might not be able to get your head above water, but you're sure as hell going to try and keep swimming. Here are 10 things you gravitate to when you've had a rough week.

1. Pizza

Honestly, when is pizza not a good option. But there is something a greasy pizza can provide you that nothing else can.

2. Wine

Once you've got enough down the hatch your mood goes from hell to semi-manageable. Wine soothes the soul with enough, maybe even a lot?

3. Sweets

They warn you about gaining weight in college and this is why. You tend to do this act by yourself because the outside world is just too much to bear but then you eventually you just get to the point where you don't care who sees.

4. Carbonated Drink Of Choice

Sip, Sip who cares about losing those calories when that drink tastes so good. Your local gas station or McDonald's may know you by name at this point because of how often you visit to get a large drink.

5. Procrastination

When you are too worried about being worried and you are just numb to the world you procrastinate. Like at this point, you are the champion of procrastinating.

6. Binge Watch A Netflix Show

You may or may not have watched this specific show a few too many times but it's what gets you through. Like you know every word to every episode.

7. Naps

Your hope is that by going to sleep everything will magically disappear. But you are sadly mistaken when you wake up and things are still waiting to be done or thought about.

8. Calling Home To Mom

"Mom, this week just sucks". And though she may not say anything super special, just hearing her voice seems to ease your mind some.

9. An Intense Workout Session

There is nothing like getting your aggression out with a hard workout that causes you to sweat out of every surface of your body.

10. Cry It Out

When all else fails, cry it the eff out. And maybe you will be tired enough to take a nap and get away from it all for awhile.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
