10-hour trips to the library, the irresistible need for a night out with friends and multiple bottles of wine, and of course the personal but not uncommon mental breakdown that occurs semi-annually.We all know the overwhelming feeling when the last few weeks of the semester rolls around. That project your professor has been talking about for months is finally due, the 10-page paper you’ve been dreading since January is suddenly due next week – and you haven’t even started any of these assignments yet. College definitely goes much quicker than we all intend, and it’s important to realize that we are all going through the same stressful few weeks together. It’ll all be so worth it when we hopefully land jobs upon graduation, and keep in mind this end of semester pain is just temporary!

College is an interesting time in our lives in which we are immensely stressed out and most likely one of the busiest times in our lives (aside from potentially starting a family - that could get rather busy I would imagine.) As we are searching to find ourselves and establish self-confidence and empowerment, we are also dealing with living away from home, taking classes on classes, and probably having an internship as well. This is a lot on our plates as we are also trying to maintain friendships

The end of the school year used to be an exciting time back in the days of elementary school and high school, but now it is a time in college in which we all dread. Here are a few GIFS to help make light of this awful time of year – and to remind you that you are not alone in over-eating and chugging a bottle of wine at the end of the day (or in the middle of the day.)

After spending 10 hours in the library:

When you can't figure out how to solve a problem that will be on the exam:

When your professor says you can't bring in a formula sheet:

When your mom asks you how your week is going:

When you have 3 exams in one day:

Before your biggest presentation:

When you've been staring at the same study sheet for 2 weeks straight:

When that one thing you didn't think you needed to study is on the exam:

When you finally finish your 10 page paper:

Good Luck!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
