Winter opens so many doors of opportunities. It's a great time to plan out dates with your significant other. There are so many different things to do in winter whether you are into outdoor or indoor activities. Here's a list of some ideas, but there are plenty more than this.
1. Ice Skating
Depending on where you live, ice skating can take place both inside and outside. It's something that screams winter and is really fun whether you are a good skater or terrible.
2. Movie Night
Pick out a favorite movie with your significant other. Make some hot chocolate or tea and curl up on the couch for a nice night in. Bonus idea: build a blanket fort for the night.
3. Board Game Night
This is a great group date idea, if you are looking to hang out with fellow couples. Gather up some board or card games. I suggest finding random games at the store that you've never played before or if planned in advance order some online.
4. Visit the Zoo
The zoo in the winter can be a beautiful thing. Depending on the weather, some animals may not be out, but it can be a fun time either way.
5. Couple's Cook Off
Another night in could include a couple's cook off. Take a trip to the store together. Each of you gather the ingredients you need and then head home and get to cooking. Taste each other's dishes or find an outside judge.
6. Indoor Rock Climbing
Indoor rock climbing is an active date that can be a blast. Whether you are just leisure climbing or racing your significant other to the top, it's a good way to spend your date time, especially if you don't want to be out in the cold.
7. Sleigh Ride
What's better than a sleigh ride in winter? Not much. Dress for the weather and bring a blanket. Look at that sites as you cuddle up in the sleigh.
8. Winter Wonderland Date
This requires a day with snow. Spend the day out in the snow. Build a snowman together. Get a sled and find a hill. Snowball fights are always a good way to the end day.
9. Mall Date Dare Challenge
So, for this one, you need to create 4-7 dares that you can do at a mall. While researching this one, an example I found was finding a yoga book and doing poses in the aisle. Each dare is worth so many points. Make a wager before hand on what the winner gets or what the loser has to do. There are printable scorecards with the dares already on them online.
10.Visit a Museum
There are tons of different kinds of museums like art, history, and living. Find one you wouldn't typically go to and learn some new things while exploring.
