I have always wanted to travel to all 50 states and all around the world. I love the feeling that comes along with experiencing new things. Traveling is about seeing the world and having adventures. So, why not stop and eat some good comfort food along the way!? Here are 10 places that everyone who loves traveling and enjoying some delicious food should try.

1. Dō

This place is located in Greenville, New York. They make gourmet, bake-able, customizable cookie dough and serve it like it's ice cream. They also have specially made cookie dough for your dog! If you love cookie dough, this place is for you!

2. That's Amore Cheese

This place is located at The Night Market in Melbourne. They make the cheesiest pasta by using homemade Italian cheeses. The finish the pasta by tossing it in a Parmigiano cheese wheel. If you love Italian pasta, this place is somewhere you must try!

3. Brownstone Pancake Factory

This place is located in Edgewater, New Jersey. They are known for their loaded milkshakes. If you love milkshakes with loads of toppings, then this place is begging you to come try the ultimate milkshake!

4. Churrascaria Plataforma

This place is located in New York City. They are a Brazilian barbecue restaurant known for serving huge amounts of meat. They have 20 different cuts and types of meat. They even carve the meats right in front of you at your table! If you love meat, you have to try this place!

This place is located in New York City. They serve meatballs in a bucket that is bigger than your face! You can get them in a variety of flavors, and they are topped with sauce and cheese. If you feel like you never get enough meatballs, this place will for sure give you enough!

This place is located in Toronto, Canada. This bakery only serves cinnamon buns, and I hear they are some of the best! They always have fresh dough and they use wholesome ingredients. They don't go light on the cinnamon filling in their buns or the icing on top! If you love a good ol' cinnamon roll, get yourself to this place!

9. Salvation Burger

This place is located in Midtown New York. They serve the juiciest half-pound burgers, and they also have a classic quarter pounder burger. If you love big, tasteful burgers this place is calling your name!

This place is located in D.C. They are known for serving chili cheese dogs and chili cheese fries. And not just any chili cheese dogs and fries, super great chili cheese dogs and fries.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
