Do you ever look at pictures from your childhood and think, "Why in the world would my mom let me go out in public wearing that?" I know there's an overabundance of photos of chubby little me keeping up with every fashion trend of the 2000s -- from gauchos to Heelys to all Limited Too fashions. I'd like to think I've learned my lesson since grade school, but a little reminder from these embarrassing photos is never a bad idea. So take a nostalgic trip down memory lane and relive all of your unbelievably awkward fashion faux pas. Your current wardrobe will thank you.

1. Crocs

Crocs and Jibbitz, those little charm-like additions to Crocs make them that much uglier.

2. Popcorn shirts

It's a shirt. And it's tiny. And it fits literally anyone.

5. Sketchers

6. Toe socks

8. Shirts with arm warmers

9. Juicy tubesocks

10. Ponchos

Flattering on literally no one ever.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
