Obviously, fall is the best season. There's no denying it. The weather, the fashion, the food, what's not to love? There are so many things to see and do in fall, but these 10 are essential.

1. Wear boots

Your fall wardrobe isn't complete without a pair of boots. Even if you live somewhere warm, like Southern California, and it's a billion degrees outside, I guarantee you will see people sporting a variety of fall fashion appropriate boots.

2. Wear scarves

Along with your boots, bundle up in a cozy scarf. It's basically a socially acceptable way to wear a blanket.

3. Go to pumpkin patches

Pumpkin patches a fun way to snap some cute pics and pick up some fun fall decor in one stop. Grab your friends and make a day of it!

4. Take pictures with leaves

Your Instagram feed will likely be filled with people throwing, standing in, and laying in fall leaves, and you should totally join them!

5. Get pumpkin spice everything

I'm obsessed with pumpkin spice. I have soap, cookies, popcorn, coffee creamer, candles, and more. I saw pumpkin spice cough drops on Facebook and I was honestly tempted. People will say pumpkin spice is overrated; those people are called haters.

6. Love sweater weather

Fall weather is undoubtedly the best. It's not too hot, not too cold, the air is crisp, and perfect for sweaters.

7. Do some fall baking

What could be better than filling your home with the warm smell of cookies baking? Fall is the perfect time to make some festive Halloween cookies or cupcakes or try your hand at a seasonal pie.

8. Be the most excited about Halloween

Let's face it, you have probably been planning your multiple Halloween costumes and spooky DIY decor on Pinterest for months, and there is nothing wrong with that! By August, I am fully ready for Halloween; I just have to wait for the rest of the world to catch up.

9. Have fall bonfires

Cozy up around a bonfire with some friends and blankets to enjoy s'mores or hot cocoa and each other's company.

10. Talk about how obsessed you are with fall

You know how amazing fall is, so share it with the rest of the world!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
