I love the Olympics. I love watching athletes complete incredible feats that I cannot even imagine doing. I love cheering on Team USA to victory because obviously my cheering is what caused them to win. I love the memories I make with my friends and family while watching the Olympics.

It's impossible not to try and figure out which event you would most likely get a medal in while watching the Olympics. For the winter Olympics, the answer is obviously curling (I mean who's ever seen someone curl other than on the Olympics?). But just because most of us will never make the Olympics doesn't mean we don't deserve a gold medal, so here are ten things college students deserve a gold medal for.

1. Waking up 20 minutes before class and making it on time

Honestly, this is an Olympic effort if I've ever seen one. I've never seen someone run as fast as someone who was late for class.

2. Procrastination

You've never seen someone procrastinate like a college student. You literally know when everything is due on the first day of class, but that doesn't stop us from doing it the night before.

3. Knowing the lyrics to every song ever

We can't remember the cause of WWI but we know all the words to the smash classic "A Million Miles" by Vanessa Carlton.

4. Most creative dinner

When it's Thursday night and you haven't been to the grocery store in two weeks it's time to get creative. Mac and Cheese with a side of toast? Bon appetit!

5. Balance

In college you are expected to balance your classes with your part-time job with your social life with your homework with sleeping. It sounds impossible but somehow we do it. Definitely gold medal worthy.

6. Ability to function on no sleep

The only group of people to get less sleep than us is new parents. Yet somehow despite our lack of sleep we still manage to function.

7. Internet Stalking

No one does it better than us. You only have the name of their friend and their hair color no problem we can find them within 30 seconds.

8. Being thrifty

Whether it's stretching your last roll of toilet paper or only buying new clothes when they are in the clearance section college students know how to save money.

9. Owning the most spirit wear

I swear our entire wardrobe consists of spirit wear.

10. Writing a good paper on something you've never read

We've all heard our professor say, "I'll know if you didn't do the reading." But we all know they don't and that's why we still manage to get an A on paper about a book we never read.

Being Invisible The Best Super Power

The best superpower ever? Being invisible of course. Imagine just being able to go from seen to unseen on a dime. Who wouldn't want to have the opportunity to be invisible? Superman and Batman have nothing on being invisible with their superhero abilities. Here are some things that you could do while being invisible, because being invisible can benefit your social life too.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
