College is one of the hardest things we will ever go through. Most days are difficult and extremely draining. We complain so much that sometimes we forget about the best parts of the college journey. Some feelings we get make it all totally worth it. I came up with a list of 10 of the best feelings you experience during college.

1. Turning in your finals

There is no better feeling than turning in the final and knowing you're done with that class forever. This feels like taking a load off of your chest even if you did fail the final.

2. Creating the perfect class schedule

This doesn't happen every semester, but when it does it feels great. Being lucky enough to have no Friday class, no morning classes, and no late night classes is a feeling that can't be beat!

3. Getting a higher grade than expected

Walking out of an exam expecting an F and finding out a few days later you got a B is a priceless feeling.

4. Getting Scholarships!

If you're the type of person to apply for scholarships you can understand the amazing feeling of being chosen for the scholarship you put so much time and thought into. Receiving a scholarship is one of the most rewarding experiences you can ever have in college.

5. Making the Dean's List

Hard work pays off. It may not seem like a big deal, but making Dean's List is an honor and something to be extremely proud of. Plus, it's great for your resume.

6. Sending books back at the end of the semester

Putting that annoyingly heavy book back into the Chegg box it came in and sending it off is such a good feeling. It's your final good riddance to the class you were done with since day one.

7. Getting the Internship you wanted

One of the most crucial parts of college is getting quality internships. Career fairs and interviews are stressful, but it all pays back when you finally get the good news.

8. Knowing you have made lifelong friends

Making friends you know will last a lifetime is the best part of college. You went through the hardest 4 years together, you're bound to be friends forever.

9. Going home for the Holidays

Turning in that last final, packing up, and headed home to celebrate the holidays with family is the best feeling of all. It gives you something to look forward to as the semester winds down.

10. Receiving free stuff

Receiving free anything is a major plus for a college student. We love the idea of not having to spend the money we don't have!

College can be horrible, but there are more positives than negatives. While college can give you some of the worst feelings ever, you are even more certain to experience some of the best feelings. Keep your head up and always remember there's a light at the end of every tunnel.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
