I have never known what life would be like if I didn’t get carsick. From five minutes to the grocery store to twelve hours to the beach, I get carsick. If I try to read, watch a movie, or do anything other than sleep or sit completely faced forward without moving my head, I feel sick. After my last twelve-hour trip I began to daydream about all of the things I could accomplish during that time if I didn’t get sick.
1. Read a book.
Or ten.
2. Play games on my phone.
I mean, those words aren't going to whizzle themselves. (Yes, Word Whizzle is an actual game. Look it up. Download it. Say goodbye to your social life.)
3. Look up make-up/hair/recipes on Pinterest.
And then start my own blog which combines all three.
4. Figure out what I’m doing with my life.
Or, you know, what I'm going to eat for dinner.
5. Learn a language.
And use it to make fun of everyone else in the car.
6. Study.
I know it's summer but, I mean, it's college. Surely I'm behind in something, right?
7. Learn how to be an adult.
I've got to figure it out sometime.
8. Write a novel.
At this point, why not?
9. Drop an album.
Beyoncé probably never gets car sick.
10. Solve world hunger.
Humbly decline the Nobel Prize.
