Just like any crazy beginning to a jam-packed year, the University of Georgia never fails to surprise it’s student population.

With Athens, GA existing as a musical icon for South, Kenny Chesney has decided to continue with this time honored tradition.

At 11:00 a.m. August 29th, it was announced that on the Phi Mu front lawn, FREE Kenny Chesney wristbands were to be handed out on a first come, first serve basis starting at NOON! With distributors placing wristbands on students wrists, it is guaranteed that the bearer of the ticket can’t sell it or copy it, etc. With the limitations of one wristband per person, it’s an understatement to say that the Milledge sorority house is swarming with eager country music fans.

Filming for a segment on CMT, the production crew will be on their front lawn all day filming! Needless to say, Phi Mu is BEYOND excited to host such an awesome event! If you’re in Athens, feel free to mozy on over to the house and see if you’re one of the few lucky individuals to grab one of those wrist bands

Doors for the concert open at 7p.m. Friday, August 29th at the Georgia Theatre. So what are you doing?! Grab a wrist band and head on over, this is one concert you won't want to miss!!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
