Taylor Swift vs. Apple
What is this about?
Taylor Swift is ready to rock after making Apple realize that it is unfair to stream songs during their three month free-trial of Apple Music without paying any royalties to artists. Taylor Swift, like many artists, is concerned with the impact that music streaming is having on the music industry. She feels that artists won't be fairly compensated for their work. Swift says, "This is simply the first time it's felt right in [her] gut to stream [her] album. Thank you, Apple, for your change of heart."
Why is it important?
For the first time since Taylor Swift's album "1989" was removed from music streaming companies such as Spotify, we will get to listen to it without purchasing a download! This is awesome for all of the "Swifties" in the world. The new Apple Music streaming service will be an awesome addition to the company's lineup of apps.
