It is very difficult to stay fit in college. Some people were blessed with
unnaturally fantastic genetics, and they do not have to work hard, but for the
majority, keeping a nice physique is challenging and kind of a pain. So, here
are some pros and cons to contemplate the next time you are debating on
hitting up the gym. Â
Pro: It is a stress reliever. With midterms are hitting
us smack in the face right now, it might be a good idea to take a break
and relieve some stress at the gym. Break a sweat and release your frustration
with a good run. A good workout can be a great way to refresh your mind before
picking up the textbooks, again.Â
Con:You actually have to leave your home. Ugh. Why is it so hard? This is probably the factor that keeps most people from going to the gym. You don’t have enough gas to make it to the gym? Well, I bet it would be enough gas to make it to Hurtz Donuts, am I right?
Pro: You will tone up your figure and get healthier.
Obviously, one of the best rewards of working out is the change in your health. It is not always about losing weight or gaining muscle; it is about living a healthier lifestyle, while surrounded by unhealthy eating options.Â
Con: You will probably have to change your pants or put pants on. Oh, the agony. This is almost as difficult as leaving the house. Why put on pants when you could lie in your bed dipping pizza in ranch dressing and watching Netflix? It is truly a hard choice.Â
I am not here to ensure that you choose going to the gym over staying home. That is your decision. It is your job to use this list responsibly to decide if you want to be healthy or hit rock bottom with your lazines.
