TFM and TSM. Jack and Coke. Heels and little black dresses. Somethings are just meant to be together. Country music and sorority girls? It's just another match made in heaven.

Country music represents so much of what is still going right with our great country. Songs about hard work, true love, and love for the red, white, and blue will never be wrong. Not to mention the fact that "picking wild flowers" sounds much more romantic than what is usually described in rap songs, even if it's really not. Country songs talk about girls that are beautiful, intriguing, and can grab the attention of a room. Sound familiar?

Sorority girls love country music. Is that a stereotype? Yes, but it's like saying that sorority girls love their littles. It's usually true. So why do we love Luke, Jason, and Florida Georgia Line? Because their songs are about us and our lives.

Finding love, losing love, not needing love at all. Drinking away the pain, making the boys go crazy, and being proud to be an American. Being noticed because of a gorgeous smile instead of just other assets goes along with the sorority value of confidence and self respect. Sorority girls are engaging and interesting, and that's something worth singing about. But at the same time, there's nothing wrong with taking a guy's breath away because of a smokin' body that's been earned in the gym. We love the idea of a guy missing us, and we love songs that remind us that we don't need to miss him. We love songs about America, and we love songs about football, going out with our friends, and about falling in love. We love country music because there is always a song to describe our life at the current moment. Country music is perfect for day drinking, tailgates, and pretty much anything. There are songs that empower us, that remind us of pain, and that make us want to dance on the bar, sometimes all at the same time. Whether you've got it all together or not, country music gets it.

Country concerts? What sorority girl doesn't love cowboy boots and cutoffs or a cute sundress. Country singers? They're the best. The guys are hott, or at least able to serenade you, and the women are gorgeous and kickass (I'm looking at you Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert). I enjoy Nicki Minaj as much as the next girl, but there's something about singing along to the real version of "Wagon Wheel" at the end of every good party that will always remind me of college. 

Oh, and Luke Bryan's butt.
